What does it cost me to have my film hosted on  http://www.reelshowinternational.com/ ?

Nothing, its free.

Is there a maximum length that my film has to be?

No, there is no length limit.

Does my film have to be subtitiled if it is not in English?

Your film can be in any language with subtitles or not, it is entirely up to you . If your film is entered for one of our big competitions, with an international panel of judges then a good story line written in English is definitley  worthwhile – but it is your call.

Can I upload as many films as I want?

Yes, you can upload as many as you like.

Can I re-upload a new version of a film already on the site?

Of course you can!

Do I have to be a film student to be a member of http://www.reelshowinternational.com/ ?

Anyone can register on the site and  become a member with voting rights. Members can also build their profiles; post reviews and use the blog and forum.

Do I have to be a film student or graduate to put my film on the site?

Only students studying film at high school; film school; college/university film faculties and film student graduates, who have graduated not more than 2 years before, can upload films onto the site. We also welcome film school/university  films that have been made by classes or groups of students from 2005 onwards.

Does http://www.reelshowinternational.com/  really have a global audience?

Yes and our membership and film uploads are without doubt international. Check it out!

Are films made in high school accepted?

Students studying film at high school; film school; college/university film faculties and film student graduates, who have graduated not more than 2 years before, can upload films onto the site.

Can Film Schools or University Faculties submit films?

Yes, We also welcome film school/university  films that have been made by classes or groups of students from 2005 onwards.

How can I submit my film to the site?

Films can either be uploaded to the site or sent to us by post.

If I want to send my film by post what do I do?

You will need to send a copy of the form with your DVD.

If I want to upload my film to the site.

Go to the submit film section and complete the film upload form. You can then proceed to the upload page.

What are the technical requirements for uploading my film on to the site?

The site terms and conditions have to be accepted before you can upload your film. Please pay particular attention to the copyright clauses.

What is the Reelshow International monthly film competition?

The monthly film competition is held at the end of every month unless otherwise specified.
It is free to enter.All the films uploaded on to the site are automatically entered into the competition.**
The six films with the most hits at the end of the month - exact timings are published in the competition section – are voted on by the members of Reelshow International.
The winner receives a prize and free automatic entry into our annual Reelshow International Film Festival and any of the other competitions running on the site that he/she is eligible to enter.
**Films that have already won any of our previous competitions will not be entered into the final six.

Can I contribute to the site in any way?

Yes you can. The site was started to give you, the film student, a platform to showcase yourself and your work. We welcome and will listen to any ideas you have for the site.

Viewing Room

The viewing room is a facility that centralizes user's films. It's the ideal solution for fellow filmmakers, viewers, potential employers to see your body of work. The viewing room is a "fast track "to your films - you can give out the link to the viewing room to your friends, employers, and so on, and decide which of your films are to be shown."
In order for us to activate your own viewing room, You first need to register on the site then go to My Reelshow and hit the Viewing Room Activation Reguest button.
