John Salcedo and his Documentary Brain Storm 'Oxygen Under Pressure'
John Salcedo is a film student at LACC in California USA, he is a US army veteran.
We have had some great film students and grads as members of the site over the past couple of years who have constantly reminded us why we started The Reelshow in the first place. John ranks up there with the best of them. We really admire his commitment and passion for the subject of his film, which is called: Brain Storm 'Oxygen Under Pressure'.
A short documentary exploring the application of Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment (HBOT) dealing specifically with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) on injured soldiers deployed to Iraq & Afghanistan.
We asked Dr Paul Harch, whose work is featured in the documentary, to answer some questions we put to him about John. and we also asked Congressman Walter Jones, who has pushed so hard to get this treament the recognition it deserves, to comment on John's making of the film.
