Darkness overwhelms us!, Wednesday, 01 July 2009

I am an aspiring film student and watching this inspires me more. I really enjoy the emotion that is evoked from watching this. The lights seem to be motivated by the darkened reality of the soul. There is a shot in the kitchen where the shadow of the man is looming over him. It is as if if the weight of what he has done is overbearing. The tunnel shot....awesome.How did you achieve the freeze frame shot at the end? Good job all in all! This is a great website!!!Look forward to more.

Love the final scene with the flashing red light and the final move from the bathroom and the c/u of gun the most and really felt moved in a pasionate way. It was an honor to have gone to school with you and Brandon! Keep up the inspiring work and thanks for keping in touch, Chris

I absolutely loved the piece. The cinematography was very dynamic and Alonzo, you were the bomb. Too bad there was no dialogue. But overall, the short enticed me to want to see more. Please keep me informed of the continuation.

Thank you for the invite to view your work and I look forward to more.

Kasper!!!

It's SO beautiful, I LOVE it!
You are so great at creating a mood! and you just nail the cinematographic interpretation of a scene and individual shots. The editing is great, the music fits perfectly, and the film noir vibe is supreme. You are so talented!
I especially love love loved the shots at 4:50-5:30 and 8:05-8:30. There are exceptional.

GREAT JOB!
Liron.
